Marianne Van De Velde is a very versatile artist from Destelbergen. She paints animals, portraits, still lifes, and landscapes. Basically, any subject is possible provided that it truly inspires and intrigues her.

Her father was a professional soldier based in Germany and a passionate landscape painter in his spare time. Marianne regularly visited exhibitions and soon became passionate about art herself.

She studied at an art school and attended drawing lessons.

So many years later, art remains an important element in her life.
