Alex is a passionate artist, born and raised in Ostend (Belgium). Since his early childhood, he has had a deep love for art and expression. After obtaining his bachelor's degree in art education, he became fascinated with painting, especially with oil paints. Since 2016, he has been working full-time as a teacher in secondary art education while also building a career as an artist.

Since 2019, Alex has been traveling abroad to attend workshops with renowned artists who have contributed to his growth as an artist and to expand his artistic network. In addition to his work in education, he also works as a visual artist with a passion for color, expression, realism, and traditional techniques.

Alongside his job, Alex has regularly reached out to artists who inspire him and whose work he admires with great wonder since 2019. This drove him to travel, meet the artists in person, and even paint together with them. In this way, he not only built friendships but also expanded his network within the artistic community. These interactions have contributed to his growth as an artist and further developed his passion for art.
