Bodies of water part 3: Jane Goodall.
Why water? First of all, for ecological reasons, our waters, seas, oceans, are in need. They are choked by plastic and pollution.
Water is the most magical element on earth. It exists as solid, liquid and gas. Water is life, fertility. All water on earth has been here since the beginning. Water can be soft and offer salvation, but it can also be a destructive force of nature against which nothing can stand.
You have to love this woman. She was only 26y.o. When she went into the jungle to study chimpanzees and started the longest-lasting research on primates till today. She discovered a lot about human behavior. Before getting started on this project young Jane had no previous experience (she studied to be a secretary, but because of her love for animals her employer and anthropologist Louis Leakey chose to take her with him) 5 years later she returned to the UK and got her doctored in ethology. Later she founded the #janegoodallinstitute won many awards and changed the world by giving people a better understanding of themselves and their environment
She’s one impressive lady indeed. But those aren’t the only reasons I respect this woman so much. Her passion and #love for all life and the environment is inspirational. She is a true role model and she does everything so gracefully, maybe we all should go live with apes for a while? One thing's for sure, this world could use more Jane Goodall
