The title of the work image on paper s 'Which Way'. What path will we take to save our nature.I chose a valley without water. The red cloth forms a great contrast with te background. Red symbolizes love but also alarm. The cloth may hold back the little water left on the planet. The trees without leaves disappear into the sky.The roof provides protection. The figures, father and child, want to go in different directions. Generation gap? The sky and the rocks were painted with acrylic paint, the red cloth with watercolor paint. The plants were printed leaf by leaf with block print. The figures are painted on paper and stitched. The roof is also stitched. the work you see a reference to Christo's famous canvases. The figures can each go in a different direction. Or not. There is a choice for everyone. Also with regard to nature (dry valley) The work is framed with a matching soft white passe-partout with a small yellow edge. surrounded by an anthracite wooden frame.
