I had the chance to rub shoulders with horses in my youth. I spent my holidays as a stable boy at the riding school of the 4th Chasseurs à Cheval at Arnsberg in Germany. To access certain activities (walks, hikes, show jumping, etc.), we had to pass certain exams. I always passed these tests with two gray horses called Enrico and Astor very similar to this drawing even if my favorite horse was called Apollo and had a brown coat.
