Rina Rox’s artworks could be described as a stylized medley of uplifting visual narratives and poetry in visual form. Inspired by her travel experiences in more than 60 countries across the world, the paintings express emotions of life. Her beautifully orchestrated compositions are enhanced in breadth and depth by her versatile use of colors, a mixture of contrasting tactile surfaces and backgrounds as well as an acute spatial perception. A mixture of different techniques and mediums, stimulating elements of fantasy and reality are wedded in perfect harmony and balance.

Rox carries with her the sadness and misery of her war experiences and translates these profound emotions and experiences in an impressive way in her artistic work. Her art becomes a reflection of her inner world and testifies to human resilience in the face of adversity. Her works are reminiscent of ancient Greek parchment scrolls from which the original text was removed to make way for new text. Nevertheless, the traces of that earlier text always remain visible. This concept of layering and intrigue of meaning is currently receiving a lot of interest in the art world. A striking aspect of her work is the use of materials themselves. People have almost limitless possibilities to leave meaningful traces in matter through their artisanal intelligence. Rox's art uniquely invites us to reflect on the profound connection between the ephemeral and the creative in the human experience.
