Neopop and Life as Art: Inspiration in Colors and Stories.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        In the late 1980s, an innovative movement emerged in the New York art world: Neopop.                                                                                                                                                                                                            Inspired by the pop art of the 1960s, this style became a conceptual reinterpretation of the heritage of that time. The boundary between kitsch and art disappeared completely, and artists played with irony and objectivity to tell stories in images, materials and methods that were at once familiar and innovative. This vision resonates strongly with my artistic motto: "Tene Quod Bene!" or "Keep what is good!". Life is about enjoying the finer things: good food and wine, music, movies, design and art. Through my colorful paintings I tell the story of life, with all its moments of inspiration and creativity.

The Power of Women.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              An important symbol in my work is the woman with the hat. My godmother, a progressive and inspiring woman, has made a lasting impression on me. Unconsciously, she plays a role in many of my paintings. The woman and the hat symbolize protection and safety, a powerful image that I translate into my work time and again. Over the years, this theme has evolved. I paint Lively Figures, Cartoon Characters, Animals and People in Artistic compositions in all kinds of situations, inspired by events that I observe from up close or far away. These stories, which I carefully store in my memory, come to life on the canvas.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  My Style and Technique.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            I mainly work with acrylic paint on canvas and also use knives and spray cans to create texture and depth. This unique combination has put my work on the map internationally.
