I am an artist, caricaturist, and independent illustrator. Independent as in "free", because I can draw and paint without the pressure to have to pay my bills with it. On the other hand, I would have loved being able to live from my art, especially being able to do it full-time.
I am self-taught in a modern sense: I didn't go to art school, but I spent a lot of time learning from the work of people I admire (Jota Leal, Jeremy Geddes, Jeff Stahl, Jason Seiler, to name a few). Making-of, WIP, videos, tutorials; anything is good to learn from!
Beyond pencil drawing, which is always the starting point for my illustrations, I particularly enjoy painting with acrylics, and aquarelle. For many years, I have mainly used the computer (DigitalArt) for my illustrations, some of which were regularly published in a newspaper.
In the past two years, I increasingly wanted to create "solid" art, to work the material, to shape unique pieces ...
