Between the shadow and the light, the painting of Melanie Dubois transports us into a silent universe where the wind plays with the trace.

Whether in a landscape or in a dive in the heart of nature, the universe of Melanie, offers us a soft mixture of affirmed pictorial touches and a contrasted coloured palette.

This alliance translates a natural movement of silence that emerges from a view at dusk, or from a viewpoint at dawn.

His compositions invite us to contemplate the power of what we have under our eyes.

We don't know if it is the light or the shadow that becomes the topic of the canvas, or if it is this perfect duality that sends us back to our own inner struggle? Whether it is dark or light, it is always the hope of something greater than oneself that is on display here.

Melanie is a self-taught painter. She finds inspiration in nature and is particularly fond of impressionist paintings. Using acrylic paint with a palette knife, she likes to transmit the contrast of her interior landscapes.

Painting has become essential, indeed, her creative gesture in touch is for her a way to transcend her joys and pains. As if to leave there, a trace of her history, a reflection of her fights and her victories. For it is always from hope that the sunny spells were born to illuminate her cloudy path.

Much more than simple landscapes, the universe of Mélanie Dubois, offers us, delicately, a sensitive and authentic sharing of her personal light, which sends us back to our own dualities.
