Linda Damiani

Painting is one of my passions and I love exploring the world of contrasts, colors, and shapes! I mainly work from photos and draw inspiration from the personality or atmosphere of the subject. I work layer by layer to reveal nuances and depth - it's like slowly bringing life to each canvas.

Fascinated more by the animal world than humans, I mainly paint realistic portraits of animals, especially wild animals and horses. I also regularly create commissioned pieces for individuals, often horses and dogs, but sometimes giraffes too :-).

Each canvas expresses my vision of the subject with softness and sensitivity. I always strive to capture the majesty and beauty of the creatures I paint (and their personality when my client allows me to know it). Acrylic is my preferred medium, allowing for a richness of textures and shades. As an amateur painter, I continue to learn and be inspired by great artists like Nick Sider, Julie Rhodes, and many others. I also follow photographers who constantly inspire me.
