For me, painting is mainly done intuitively: you start with a line and suddenly you discover another world: 'you dive into the catacombs of your soul'. Colors and shapes are created by choices that my unconscious makes. A painting process that resembles a symphony of surfaces and brushstrokes flattered in an exuberant cadence.

It's a process of searching for the right shape, color and composition and what the work ultimately does to you or not..like the perception of music.
