I created this painting when I was writing my first book, “update”. The book retraces my short career as a charming actress and the difficult aftermath of fitting in with the rest of the world. It also talks about the difficulty of being legitimate as a woman in the 70s and 80s, although this has changed, but there's still a long way to go.
Also in protest at the election of a phallocratic Madman.
