"It Was a Night" is an intriguing artwork that takes the viewer on an emotional journey through nine different phases: sensuality, playfulness, love, pleasure, seduction, eroticism, purity, warmth and affection. Each box, measuring 30 cm, represents a unique phase and offers the viewer the freedom to fit these feelings into their preferred colour. The boxes are interconnected and intertwined, highlighting the intertwining of these emotions. Mounted on an aluminium frame with an overall dimension of 100 x 100 cm, this work invites the viewer to explore and interpret the complexity and beauty of human experiences. With "It was a Night", the artist creates a space in which the deep, often contradictory feelings of a night come alive, offering a platform for personal reflection and interpretation.
