Artist of the month : Gina Creminger (june 2025)

Born in Ostend, Gina Creminger creates art rooted in personal and political experience. Her journey began in South Africa, where private mentor Braam Coetsee helped her tap into her inner creative force.

Most of her work is made in South Africa, inspired by its intense light and vivid colors.

Her art challenges the hypocrisy and oppression of modern society, resisting systems of power and conformity. She uses raw organic materials and mixed techniques to reflect life’s chaos and human struggle.

Creminger’s work confronts inequality, exposing the lies of media and institutions. Through bold contrasts and provocative imagery, she asks the viewer: are you complicit, or ready to break free?
